Overview of Mike's
Ministry & Background

Bio-Outline Overview
Mike and his family were involved in the exciting pioneer end of starting over 20 different ministries. They learned the Pioneers, are fighting snakes, wild animals, getting lost in the woods, always searching for their bearings, and struggling to just stay alive on a road without a path ahead. Lewis and Clark would smile to see the 4 lane freeways going over the spot where they trugged.

Life Chronicle Forward Alone
I have learned we all must step out alone before the judgement seat of Christ. That's why He has us make all of our big steps in life, alone. It's the way God gets us closest to Him. Before we meet again.
     1. Died and went though a hellish experience. one chapter
     2. Began reading bible after return to life every day for 8-10 hours a day for 9 months.
     3. 5 major searching events during the desperate search for peace with God.
     4. Under the Huntington Beach Pier, instead of surfing like I had planned, I had a greater desire to read my bible. While reading the bible at the end of the 9 month desperate search. A young man leads me in prayer to Peace with God and His Son Jesus Christ.
     5. The next morning I woke with a peace that a million sermons could not express. I knew I had peace with God. Sitting with my bible and my bowl of beans I had an overwhelming urge to thank God. As I prayed I felt His pressence. The pressence of Jesus Christ. I couldn't stop thanking him. I knew, I knew He was the Son of God. I knew I had done what pleased Him.
     6. I had never met another person who had found this kind of peace. It is the kind of thing you can't keep silent. None of the churches, no one, had told me that you be at peace with your Maker.
     7. I had only one book to describe my course, the bible. That day my missionary tour began. I read where Peter preached in the streets, and thought, I guess thats what I have to do, now,, start telling people. I walked over to McArthur Park. I remember the feeling of walking toward the park, I had a firm grip on the bible, I felt certain I was not alone, and, I knew one verse that when I prayed it brought peace. I was prepared to share that peace with others.
     8. I began preaching on a park bench. The park had become my unwilling congregation. I had many hard experiences trying to reach a city. I walked Wilshire Blvd encountering everyone on the sidewalk with the fact that they could have peace with God.. Started going nightly to Hollywood Blouvard and sharing. Preached a sermon on Hollywood to a gang of Hells Angels, and led about 50 people in a prayer of repentance on the sidewalk.
     9. "No theres this other guy". One day while preaching on the bench, with my eyes closed I felt a hand tugging on my jeans. "Hey," the voice said, "you look like you think your the only christian on earth"?. Without taking a thought I pointed toward Huntington Beach and said, "No, there's this other guy".
     10. He took me that saturday morning to a christian businessmens radio breakfast program. No longer alone. Forward ? Learning God is on the Move and we must move to keep up with him I had found out God can be real to us. And that He is busy doing things on earth. God is always on the move and to serve the living we must learn to be about our "Masters Business"

Recieved less than a total of $ 11756. in offerings over the 2 years of preaching. Thats an average of $ 17.96 per sermon. *1. (detail view in appendex at bottom) Forward into Hardship The Highland Call, Learning to Go Forward. "the sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold, therefore shall he beg in the time of harvest". Frost was coming off my breath the first morning I woke in Dunoon Scotland my blankets were covered in ice, as well as the inside of our windows. I never realized that going forward would be as hard as, how can I get out of my bed, let alone reach the world. A though Hit my head, the quote from above. The sluggard... I thought thats not in the bible, I reached over and opened my bible, and opened right to the verse. prov......... God wasn't babying me anymore,,, If you want a harvest,,, you must plough in the cold. I didn't know the weather was the least of my worries...
     14. We went to Scotland for 4 years. *2.( Brother Ingrahms Wonderfull advice) 8 years before after a 2 week fast Llyn and I had a sumultaneous vision where I heard the bagpipes while at work, and Llyn saw me preaching in old cold scottish buildings. The vision occured at 8 am in two different locations. It would be 8 years before God opened the door to go.
     15. Brief Outline of Scotland Events. a. Started meetings with navy guys. Held 3 Services a week and started a weekend open air meeting. b. Money ran out after 6 months, no car, no support, no way to get home. Living totally on faith. Some left groceries at our door. For the next 2 years we were not permitted to shop in the Dunoon market. Started speaking in Rothsay Hall, Lochgilphead Mason Lodge on a weekly basis. Doors opened to be special guest speaker for churches in Ireland, Germany, England, Belgum, and without taking one offering or asking for money God met needs. c. End of 2nd year. Taken to court for holding illegial bible studies in our house. My children were beaten up and taunted daily because of our pressence in the town. We started a work in Paisley. Lochgilphead. Dunoon. We got a building and a chaple to meet in. Wrote printed and handed out 17000 gospel tracts during this time. d. Birmingham Angels. Went on the bus to Birmingham to beg for money to get my family out of our hellish experience.... Were asked to start over in Glasgow, Went to beg God to let us go home,,,, and heard the angels singing,,,,,,"He will do great things". Came out of prayer closet, I thought it was the convention choir singing, and saw,,,,, there was no choir. They had gone down to dinner. e. Was given a car by a friend I preached in Cambridg with, and drove home. as I rounded the city of Glasgow on the M1 Motorway at 3 am that morning I heard the angels again singing over the city. f. In the following 2 years (will share later), God gave me the strategy of what to do.

By the end of the 2nd year I was holding 11 meetings a week.
1.(One in Paisley on Monday nights).

It's for others but not for you Remember that old tract that spoke of a life of true integrity. And the possibility of a life of service without any rewards in this life. No fame, fortune, or financial security. At a ministers meeting when they were trying to raise the ministers dues. A fee I could not afford. I found myself standing at a microfoan saying, "May I speak, I represent the Fransciscan Branch of our Denomination that took the unwilling vow of poverty." Sitting next to me was a pastor who made over $ 90,000 dollars a year. He could afford the dues increase. But, It's for others, and not for you. I have learned that that can be true. You can work full time for the Lord and be completely broke. Section of getting over finances and what they can do to you.
     11. At the end of the 4 years a family that I had been preaching with, The McLaughlins, Decided to join the denomination.
     12. At this time I was at a convention and late one night heard two Overseers discussing how to get rid of me and insert one of them. My wife and I completely lost heart in the denomination. Over the next couple of monthes we watched them go through their plan. Getting rid of me was easier than thay thought. I simply no longer wanted to work with people like that. Going Forward, While Full of Arrows We landed in California and put our entire life savings on our first and last months rent. I felt like the great white whale in Moby Dick, where swimming ment going forward while full of other mens harpoons. Every turn of the tail brought more pain than it seemed worth. I was just beginning to learn what the cross was, and what His Wonderfull Grace was for. It was to keep us dead enough to ourselves that things in church wouldn't bother us to the point of total discouragement. And His grace,, oh, that is what keeps us sweet and loving, where we can still hope all things, believe all things, endure all things, it simply preserves so His Love can continue to flow through us.

Crashing & Burning in ol L.A.

     14. The Great Northwest Challenge.
     15. From Eternity to Infinity and Beyond. Sweeter as the day goes by. Great Joy at the end of complete destruction.
