We at CRN began archiving the persecution data on the internet in 1995. We were soon overwhelmed. Then there were a few Web Sites dedicated to this issue, they soon touched off a spark that set a fire of new sites. Now, if you go to any browser, type in "persecution, christians, " there will be hundreds, even thousands of sites that come up...

One thing in common with all the Persecution web sites is that they are soon overwhelmed with all the events that should be chronicled. The persecution is going at such speed in so many places that many web sites give up trying to keep up, with the updating of events. You will go to their site and see the dates of events stopping at 2001, 2002, and on. The Persecution Of Christians World Wide takes a team of full time christians documenting to even stay close.

We are endeavoring to link you to as many web sites that are on the forfront of this cause. We have begun the lists below. Please E-Mail us with any new sites we can add so we can keep this page updated.

Most Recient first, not always in Date Sequence.

     Kyrgyzstan overthrown in 1 day 3-25.. Mixture of Russian, Chinese, Muslims. Christians send word of help we are forwarding. Will post more later.
     Bomb blast in Christian section of Lebanon. Following switch-over from Syrian Muslim Extreem government to Lebanese Muslim control. While Syrians are pulling out this is their only chance to wipe Christians off the map in Lebanon.
     8 Million have been killed, are missing, or have been forced to convert and canno't be found. 8 Million is more that the Nazi Camps Killed. This is more than all the christians who were killed in the 10 Roman Persecutions between A.D. 64 through A.D. 313. This 8 million, is more than all the christians that have been killed all the way back to the stoning of Stephen in 33-34 A.D.
     These facts were also quoted by Dr. James Kennedy on the Coral Ridge Hour in 1993. He said the Persecution of Christians is one of the most concealed news stories of this century. We are reminided of the days when the media hid the truth of the concentration camps from the American people during the early parts of WW2. Go to Google, or Webcrawler, type, destruction, kosovo, persecution, you'll see the Page at the top with the destroyed churches in Kosovo. It's happening everywhere. Pakistan, Liberia, Algeria, ,, well go and see.

Kyrgyzstan Christians Under Attack
Since March 23 05, Revolution Overthrow of government for false election claims. After overthrow one reports, "It wasn't very long, however, before more incidents started coming to my attention: Christians being thrown into jail, tortured, or killed; anti-Christian riots; terrorist attacks on Christian villages, and more".

In Naryn, Protestant Christians reported tension with Muslims in Naryn. A Baptist convert was refused burial in a Muslim graveyard because of his conversion, this broke out into rioting. In Naryn, as well as in other areas, Muslims have complained about aggressive proselytizing by Christians as their excuse for going on the attack. http://www.help-for-you.com/
Kyrgyzstan: Legislation could hinder missionary activities.

Kyrgyzstan. According to the Keston Institute the law would ban non-registered missionary activity.East West Ministry’s John Maisel says laws won’t stop their work. "In countries where you can register legally is to set up a legal entity. We’ve been successful in that in some of the other countries. Although they’re not as restricted or closed as some of the other countries, but with our national leaders we would try to register and operate legally." Maisel says while there is persecution, exciting things are happening. He explains what’s going on in one area. "In this desolated area, all Muslims hostile to the Gospel initially, persecuted for their faith, but now where we started with one about three years ago, there’s over 200 and 20 different cell churches."
CIA Report Stats. Religious Atmosphere: Islam is the religion of about 80% of the population. Another 17% of the population considers itself Russian Orthodox. However, among both the Muslims and the Russian Orthodox there are many nominal believers. Small concentrations of other religious groups, including Protestants, exist.

June 2003 - Three churches belonging to the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ reported having trouble with the authorities. Congregations in Karakol and Osh were ordered to close because neither has been registered by the government. Both churches have attempted to register in the past but were denied for supposedly not completing the paperwork properly. The Bishkek church has been told it fails to meet building standards and authorities have threatened to turn off the electricity and water. Pastor Vasili Kuzin of the Bishkek church maintains that authorities have launched a campaign against the denomination, which is growing rapidly throughout Kyrgyzstan.

Many countries that took hundreds of years of missions work to develop. Some even dating back to the early church. Are completely overrun by muslims. Somalia boasted in it's news that there is not one church left in all of Somalia. 2 months later our President sent the marines into the country, not knowing a thing about the complete overthrow of christianity by muslims in Somalia. Another example is Kosovo go to their web page and see all the churches burned down since 2000.
