Is this the Yom Kippur 9-23-06 the awaited Feast of
Trumpets, is it the big one? I am amazed to find my old study on the trumpets and then Note: The study below was made for September 11, 1999 the year before the Trade Center Attack.
Note: as I prepare to upload my Rosh Hashanna Study I accidentaly noticed, the study on the left was prepared for the up and coming event that would take place on
Sep, 11, 1999 Rosh Hashana Date
Now, it is Sep. 22, 2006 the eve of Rosh Hashana. Look at what has happened since this first study was prepared.
Christians are Excited about The
Feasts to Come
Rosh Hashana. This year is, Sept 23 06
the Feast of
Trumpets looks toward and prepares us for, Day of Atonement and the one day where we expect Jesus is Coming with the Angels and the Trump of God
The Trumpets
are to wake us up and prepare us over 10 days to be ready for,
Oct 2 2006.
Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. In 1 day all sins are forgiven.
Jesus said
whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord in that Day shall be saved.
Why God the Father wants us to come to Him in the Name of His Son Jesus for Forgiveness
All prophecies are fulfilled and the Armegeddon Scenario Ready, and

look for the Return the Lord, who is Coming with a
shout and the Trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall Rise. 2 Thes. 4,14 Jesus Coming for the Church. Ch. 3, 13 Shows Jesus Coming
with the Saints.
Jesus fulfilled all the other feasts to the very
day, the very hour. This is why we are so excited about these upcoming
Feasts Yet to be Fulfilled
1st is a Study of some of the Types of Christ in
the Old Testament.
2nd is a study on the meaning occasions to come and how
Jesus is the Fulfillment of all the Feasts.
Jesus is
the Image of God and the true meaning of the Feasts, Special Days, and O.T.
Symbols all were a type of Jesus the Christ who was to come. Jesus said, “as
they lifted the serpent in the wilderness the son of man shall be lifted up so
that whosoever looketh up to him and believeth shall be saved.”
Joh 3:14 And
as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of
man be lifted up:
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus is Called the High
Priest without beginning or end as according to Melchizedek
Heb 7:15 And it
is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there
ariseth another priest, Heb 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal
commandment, but after the power of an endless life. Heb 7:17 For he testifieth,
Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Above Hebrews
speaks of the event in Ge 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth
bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. Ge
14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God,
possessor of heaven and earth: Ge 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which
hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Atonement
Le 16:29 And this shall be a statute for ever
unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the
month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be
one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
Le 16:30
For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to
cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
LE
23:27 27-32. there shall be a day of atonement . . . and ye shall
afflict your souls--an unusual festival, at which the sins of the whole year
were expiated.
Verses 4-14 The feast of the
Passover was to continue seven days; not idle days, spent
in sport, as many that are called Christians spend their holy-days. Offerings
were made to the Lord at his altar; and the people were taught to employ their
time in prayer, and praise, and godly meditation.
Firstfruits
Offering on the 3rd day after the Passover Lamb was
slayen
The sheaf of first-fruits was typical of the Lord
Jesus, who is risen from the dead as the First-fruits of them that
slept. Our Lord Jesus rose from the dead on the very day that the first-fruits
were offered. We are taught by this law to honour the Lord with our substance,
and with the first-fruits of all our increase, Pr 3:9. They were not to eat
of their new corn, till God's part was offered to him out of it; and we must
always begin with God: begin every day with him, begin every meal with him,
begin every affair and business with him; seek first the kingdom of God.
Verses 15-22 The feast of Weeks on the 50th day after
Firstfruits.
was held in remembrance of the giving of the law,
fifty days after the departure from Egypt; and looked forward
to the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, fifty days after Christ our Passover was
sacrificed for us. On that day the apostles presented the first-fruits of
the Christian church to God. To the institution of the feast of Pentecost,
is added a repetition of that law, by which they were required to leave the
gleanings of their fields. Those who are truly sensible of the mercy they
received from God, will show mercy to the poor without grudging.
Verses 23-32 the blowing of trumpets (Not yet fulfilled - Jesus coming with Trump)
represented the
preaching of the gospel,
by which men are called to repent of sin,
and to accept the salvation of Christ, which was signified by the day of
atonement. Also it invited to rejoice in God, and become strangers and
pilgrims on earth, which was denoted by the feast of Tabernacles, observed
in the same month. At the beginning of the year, they were called by this
sound of trumpet to shake off spiritual drowsiness, to search and try their
ways, and to amend them. The day of atonement was the ninth day
after this; thus they were awakened to prepare for that day, by sincere and
serious repentance, that it might indeed be to them a day of atonement. The
humbling of our souls for sin, and the making our peace with God, is work that
requires the whole man, and the closest application of mind. On that day God
spake peace to his people, and to his saints; therefore they must lay aside all
their wordly business, that they might the more clearly hear that voice of joy
and gladness.
LE 23:27 27-32. there shall be a day of
atonement . . . and ye shall afflict your souls--an unusual festival, at
which the sins of the whole year were expiated. (See Leviticus 16:29-34). It is
here only stated that the severest penalty was incurred by the violation of this
day.
Tabernacles Speaks of the
Minillium when we reighn with Christ, All Nations must come to Jerusalem during
the 1000 years.
Verses 33-44 In the feast of Tabernacles there
was a remembrance of their dwelling in tents, or booths, in the
wilderness, as well as their fathers dwelling in tents in Canaan; to remind them
of their origin and their deliverance.
Christ's tabernacling on earth in
human nature, might also be prefigured. And it represents the believer's life
on earth: a stranger and pilgrim here below, his home and heart are above
with his Saviour. They would the more value the comforts and conveniences of
their own houses, when they had been seven days dwelling in the booths. It is
good for those who have ease and plenty, sometimes to learn what it is to endure
hardness. The joy of harvest ought to be improved for the furtherance of our joy
in God. The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; therefore whatever we
have the comfort of, he must have the glory of, especially when any mercy is
perfected. God appointed these feasts, "Beside the sabbaths and your free-will
offerings." Calls to extraordinary services will not excuse from constant and
stated ones.
LE 23:34 34-44. the feast of
tabernacles, for seven days unto the Lord--
This
festival, which was instituted in
grateful commemoration of the Israelites
having securely dwelt in booths
or tabernacles in the wilderness, was the
third of the three great annual festivals,
and, like the other two, it
lasted a week. It began on the fifteenth day of the month, corresponding to the
end of our September and beginning of October, which was observed as a Sabbath;
and it could be celebrated only at the place of the sanctuary, offerings being
made on the altar every day of its continuance. The Jews were commanded during
the whole period of the festival to dwell in booths, which were erected on the
flat roofs of houses, in the streets or fields; and the trees made use of are by
some stated to be the citron, the palm, the myrtle, and the willow, while others
maintain the people were allowed to take any trees they could obtain that were
distinguished for verdure and fragrance. While the solid branches were reserved
for the construction of the booths, the lighter branches were carried by men,
who marched in triumphal procession, singing psalms and crying "Hosanna!" which
signifies, "Save, we beseech thee!" (Psalms 118:15,25,26). It was a season of
great rejoicing. But the ceremony of drawing water from the pool, which was done
on the last day, seems to have been the introduction of a later period (John
7:37). That last day was the eighth, and, on account of the scene at Siloam, was
called "the great day of the feast." The feast of ingathering, when the vintage
was over, was celebrated also on that day [Exodus 23:16, 34:22], and, as the
conclusion of one of the great festivals, it was kept as a sabbath.

Verses 1-3 In this chapter we
have the institution of holy times; many of which have been mentioned before.
Though the yearly feasts were made more remarkable by general attendance at the
sanctuary, yet these must not be observed more than the sabbath. On that day
they must withdraw from all business of the world. It is a sabbath of rest,
typifying spiritual rest from sin, and rest in God. God's sabbaths are to be
religiously observed in every private house, by every family apart, as well as
by families together, in holy assemblies. The sabbath of the Lord in our
dwellings will be their beauty, strength, and safety; it will sanctify, build
up, and glorify them.
